Vehicle Detail

Up for sale--my 1968 Dodge charger. I've owned this car for 12 years and have now decided it's time to move on. This car will be sold as a package deal with the parts I've collected over the years to restore this vintage ride. Included are doors, front fenders, trunk lid, hood, working grill, and a host of other parts. The car is a blast to drive and everything works except for the back up lights and clock, typical for this type Mopar. The car has a 383 magnum hi-perf mated to a 883-A Hemi 4 speed with a 8 3/4 rear. I've never figured out exactly the rear end ratio but I believe it to be in the 3:73 ratio. It cruises beautifully at 75mph @ 2200 RPM on the highway, it actually gets around 17 mpg--not bad for a 44 year old car with a big block! The wheels are 15x7 and 15x10 Center Lines with Performer GT radials front and rear with just over 3500 miles on them. The car is in overall decent shape, it has not been restored as I could not bring myself to tear it all apart only to be stuck away in some corner of the garage and be restored years later or worse never! (seen that happen too many times as we all have) The car is just to fun to drive! This is not a numbers matching car and I believe it was originally a 318 car with the 4 speed and a vinyl top with white being the original color. The car is solid overall. The front fenders are fiberglass aftermarket, they're in good shape, no holes or waves in them, and a set of steel fenders go along and are in excellent shape. There is a rust hole in the truck pan approx. 4 x 1 inches long, the rockers have some small bubbles in them and also a crack in the top of the rear quarter panel drivers side just behind the door. Previously, someone decided to cut a hole for a air shock valve in the real valance. As I said with the sale of this car, a brand new rear valance and corner caps are included so consider these options in your decision. The grill and head lights work perfectly and there is another grill to go with the car. Many options to choose from--resell the parts yourself or include in a restoration. I will answer as many questions as I can about the car and assist you where possible. You can contact via e-mail at Dega5706@aol.com or my cell at 484-269-1316 Gavin. The buyer assumes all responsibility and fees including shipping or transport. One last item--remember to include space in the shipping for the additional parts that are included with the car. Thanks for looking and best of luck.
