A GEM IN THE RUFF.this car was bought new by my mother in 1987.she drove it very little over the years and it has never left the state of florida..as she got older she could not get in and out of the car anymore so she parked it in her garage in 1999..it sat there for years until she passed away last year.so i inherited the car.i changed out the gas tank and cleanned the fuel system and new fuel pump,put a new battery in it and she fired right up.it runs great.good michelin tires on it.nice little sporty cadillac..now the bad part.the paint has some dings and scratches in it and the trunk lid need help.it is oxidized really bad..the garage the car sat in had windows and the sun beat on the trunk all day.the interior could use a good cleaning and the drivers seat has sone seams comming apart.the anti lock brakes are sticky.easy fix for a mechanic.and some of the electrical switches need cleaning witch i am told is common in these cars.the motor latch for the hard/soft is missing but can be found on ebay..and finally the windshield has a crack in it,i have been quoted 400.00 for a new one or you can put comp insurance on the car and get it replaced(in florida) its a nice car for a collector or someone who loves these cadillacs. there are a few allante clubs out there.put a little money and time into it and its a great car with only 48,000 miles on it.this car is sold as is and the winning buyer is responsible for shipping or picking it up.i will need to be payed in full one week after auction ends..i am starting the bid at the reserve price of what i have into it.i am also listing this car locally and may cancel this action at any time.thank you and good luck
