Vehicle Detail
This beauty is in excellent condition and ready to be driven anywhere. It has had a lot of recent work done on the problems that are routine for this car at this age. If you are looking for one of these cars and are not fully familiar with them, LOOK for this work. All 6 brake calipers replaced with new brake pads Brake hydraulic fluid flushed and replaced Power steering fluid flushed and replaced Replaced 4 lower Control Arm bushings Replaced ignition wires Replaced all engine mounts Replaced all 4 hydraulic accumulators Rebuilt Driver's Information Panel The following are issues with the car which I never felt the need to be dealt with: Minor paint issues on right front fender, right front door, base of rear window. See photos (the front door paint issue won't show in a photo but at the bottom of the door there is an area about 8" x 2" where the black paint is missing. There is NO visible rust anywhere on the car including floor pans. The cruise control does not work The diver's seat controls do not work The DVD players built into the head rests have not been connected. These were installed be some previous owner and come with remote controls, software and paperwork. Very attention getting at car shows but never of interest to me. The beautiful wood door panels are unique. In spite of their factory bespoke appearance, I was told be a former RR dealer that this work was done by a speciality luxury car company in Massachusetts. This car is a driver in excellent condition. It is NOT a new car and there are probably little nicks in the paint that are not worth going into. All the glass is in good condition and the tires are like new. If you need to have the car shipped, I have had good experience with a local shipper and will be willing to deliver it to them. If you use your shipper, it will be at your risk. I sold another car recently and the buyer used a cut rate trucking company and paid the price when the car was delivered. On Jan-10-13 at 18:21:40 PST, seller added the following information: A few last minute thoughts: The rack and pinion have been replaced. Also, the car has been keep in my 2 car heated garage during my ownership and never driven in winter. I am selling ONLY because I have downsized, selling my house and moving into a condo which provides only one garage space and I need that for my BMW.
