I've decided to part with my 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit Turbo Diesel. I purchased the car in Campbell River, British Columbia, around three in a half years ago. I took a train a few buses and a couple ferries to travel the 1707 miles to Campbell River from Fargo North Dakota in order to finally have the car I had been searching for. I was a little worried about the trip back to North Dakota but the car drove flawlessly. Shortly after I got the car back to North Dakota I had a local body shop remove the fender flares and fix some small rust spots and re-paint the car. There is only one small rust spot by the bottom right corner of the hatchback window below the seal. Other than that one rust spot the car is rust free. The seats in the car are not original, I beleive they are from a GTI from the same year with tan seat covers. I had the steel wheels sandblasted and powder coated silver. The tires are Michelins with under 100 miles on them. The OEM roof rack I found on Ebay, the rack had never been mounted on a car and is practically new. The odometer is in Kilometers. This is a extremely hard car to find. I would love to keep this car ,I just don't drive it enough to justify keeping.
