1968 Chevy Short Bed 4X4 Decent shape. Good to just ride around in and enjoy or restore to a damn nice truck. Body is strait, minor rust on the passenger door and around back window. Significant rust under cab. The floors feel solid from the inside but from underneath there is some rust in the areas of the front drivers cab mount. There is also rust in other places under there. If it does not sell, i am going to replace the floor with an entire new floor pan. One crossmember under the bed is severly rotted and the front one has some rust holes. Bed sides and tailgate feel solid (prob have filler in them in places). Bed floor is in good shape as is the front of the bed. Doors are solid with very minor rusting on the bottom. Front fenders are solid. Drivers inner fender is solid, passenger fender has rust where it would bolt to the core support. Core support has a little rust also. The truck is mounted on a newer frame and has front disc brakes. Truck has a good running 350 w/center bolt heads (told it is a vortec) and a turbo 350 trans. It has 33" swampers with good tread. The truck is not all over the road when you drive it. I think the engine could use an oil pan gasket. This truck has alot of potential and i am not going to give it away. I will just keep it and fix it before i give it away. Vehicle sold as is where is with no warranties or guaranties. On Dec-31-12 at 14:23:58 PST, seller added the following information: The main cab mount that is rusted bad is the passenger side, not the drivers (although it also prob has a little rust) I may be able to assist with delivery for a fee within a few hundred miles.
