For Sale by owner: 1928 Model A Ford. Found in a garage. The owner passed away and it has been there for 23 years. It had been sand blasted and a coat of primer was put on in the 1980's They did not do any body work and there are a few spots that fiberglass was put on for a patch, and a few places that are bumpy here and there. Most of the car body is in great shape, fenders, hood, cab interior wood floors. Tires are old, some cracking, but do hold air. This thing started right up and drives great. Put a new carb, plugs, had top head machined. new copper gaskets, water pump, rebuilt starter, new battery, all lights work. Have all glass except windshield, which you can easily get cut. Have copy of old title and original 1928 liscense plate. Was going to make it my Hillbilly Moonshiners car for the parades, etc. Have original back seat and some front seat parts and other goodies that will go with the car. It has 2014 tags on it now. It really doesn't even smoke any when running. Motor sounds really good. boiled out radiator but it still is either not clean enough or big enough, it wants to overheat some. Just not wanting to buy another radiator for it. I'm just ready to sell. Gas, oil and motor was flushed and replaced. I have enough toys and hate to give it up, but there it is. Make a real fun project for a father and son. Do it Original, hot rod, rat rod??? This one is ready to be Something. Buyer must pick up. There is a local shipper if you need one. Has a low reserve.
