Great looking and great running fj 40. This fj has the origianl F2 motor and original parts. It has new BF Goodrich tires, new paint, new front and back seats. The previous owner put a new clutch in it and I gave the FJ a tune up with new plugs, new wires, new air filter and new gas filter. On Jan-01-13 at 07:45:38 PST, seller added the following information: This fj has very litte to no rust. It was repainted and they did a good job, could of been a little better in my opionion but it is not a $25k truck. The frame and underbelly is rust free with no cracks and is very strong. I had a compression check on the fj and the cylinders came back 120-130 on all of them, showing that it is a very good engine. All of the engine is original including the carb. It does have the f2 engine which is better than the earlier modeles and will keep its value higher than the f1 engine. It has new seats in front and back. I just put in a new battery, spark plugs, air filter, and fuel filter. I had the Toyota dealership in San Diego check it out and they only had a few minor comments. One of them was that it will eventually need a new water punp, which is roughly a $70 for a new part. The oil and temp gauge is not working but they said it simply needs a sender switch for each, so no big deal there. It also needs rotors and brake pad, but I will get new brake pads on the fj. I also just added a new front bumber from Toyota a few days ago. Overall I think this truck is great for the price, exspecially if you compare the price to the other fjs on ebay.
