1969 Camaro X11 SS, Lemans Blue, Black interior, complete project car Originally a Lemans Blue with Black Deluxe Interior, X11 SS 350, 4 speed manual and 12 bolt rear end Options included power steering and power disc brakes FrameCar is sitting on a completely restored original front sub-frame. The frame has been sandblasted and painted GM black oxide. The rear end has been restored and it date matches the car, it has a new posi unit, new gears, new moser street axles all new brakes and lines, new gas tank, good original springs. BodyThe body is nice and straight, it was a solid car to start with, it has been finished in Lemans blue with correct Z28 stripes. The doors and fenders do have some dings in them and should be addressed and resprayed. The doors are mounted on the car and open and close nicely. The quarters are in great condition. Wheel wells are very nice. The floors and trunk floor are solid and in great shape. With this Camaro you will receive a master body kit including all necessary correct hardware. The original hardware has been saved and will be included as well. The doors are original and fit perfectly. They open and shut very well.The cowl hood is steel and in great shape. InteriorThe front and rear seats are in good shape for a driver and could be used as is. Door Panels - The door panels are in excellent condition. The headliner and sun-visors are both in good condition and it is still installed. No carpetDash is intact with the exception of the radio being cut out for a larger stereo. Steering column and wheel are nice.Seatbelts are in excellent shape The A-pilar windshield trim moldings are in good shape The original wiring is in tact, there is also a new one included in the auction. GlassThe front and rear glass is all in good shape, the door glass and quarter glass are still installed and are in good shape as well. Bumper and other Chrome/Stainless ItemsBumpers are straight and clean. They are usable and in better than driver quality. Front grill is in very good condition. Front and rear license plate frames are in good shape The window trims are in good shape, driver quality, but are fine to use or you could purchase new ones. EmblemsThis Camaro was purchased as a Z28, it has Z/28 emblems. I do not believe it is an original Z/28. Some say X11 Z28's were produced, I would say this car was a small block SS originally. Have new OEM Camaro emblems for the car. Lights/LensesHave original side marker lights that are in good shape, but you may want to replace with new ones. WheelsThe wheels are GM Corvette 15X8" rally wheels with brand new BfGoodrich raised white letter radial tires. Engine and transmission 1970 400 Small Block engine with 5000 miles on build. Runs great, good power and no smoke. Transmission is a date match to the car, Muncie 4-Speed Exhaust Manifolds are correct for the car. Fan Clutch 4 core radiator is in good shape Intake is an Edelbrock Performer RPM Currently over $25k in actual cash has been invested into this Camaro and the restoration. That doesn't count labor, searching time for parts, materials and shipping of parts. All that means is that you could potentially part this car out and get back no less than that amount. However, this is a clean original 1969 Camaro that has been nut and bolt restored. Put back together with care it should bring a minimum of 25k to mid 30's. This car is located in Upstate, NY.
