You are looking at an absolutely superb machine. It is a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle in nearly complete original showroom condition. It is 100% sound from roof to tires and has zero rust. This baby has been garage kept since it was driven off the dealers lot in 1965. The paint and interior are all original. There is a protective rug placed over the floor, however the carpet and floorboard are in mint condition. The running boards and sunroof are completely original and untouched! The entire car is fully functional including the heater, lights, windshield wipers, and even the original Bendix radio (see the video to hear it in action). All service records are documented as you can see in the photos. The engine was rebuilt in 1978 (see photo for service bill) and last year the master cylinder was replaced (see photos for service bill). Please scroll down for the Youtube videos of the engine running and the radio working! There is a scuff down the passenger side where a black plastic mailbox went down the side. Because the paint is original I have not yet had it repaired. You may decide how to proceed with the scuff when you see the vehicle. It appears that most of the mark will simply buff off.The only parts which are not original to the car are the Porsche exhaust, Porsche brakes, Porsche seatbelt buckles, customer steering wheel and gear shifter.
