1958 Chevy panel truck, no reserve! According to a VIN decoder I used online, the serial number makes it a 1959 as well as the hood emblem, but the fender emblems look like '58's. Could have been close to the change over. I also know that back at this time vehicles were titled the year they were sold, so if it was a '59 built soon enough to sell at the end of '58 that could explain it too. Who really knows?! The serial number plate on the post DOES match the title, and that's what matters. No engine or trans. At one time someone had a V8 and a floor shifter in it. It does have a clutch pedal set. Also had lift blocks put in front and rear. The front fenders have been fixed and have the usual problems. There is a pair of fenders that go along with it that were new but left outside and the edge at the door would need some fixing on both, not terrible though. The bottoms of the front and back doors are rusted, but the skins are decent. The steps inside the doors have been patched and need fixed again. Floor and floor braces need repair. The quarter panels need help too. I got this with plans of making a crew cab out of it and my '55 Chevy truck, but then I remembered how many other projects I have, so it's got to go. Ask questions!
