Since purchased the following work was done by a certified Audi Master Technician at the same dealership that the original owner purchased from and maintained at: Replaced all belts, timing belt, plugs, fuel filter, thermostat, water pump, brake lines and all hoses to calipers, blower motor, sway bar bushings, control arm bushings, front wheel bearings, wiper blades, major service, oxygen sensor, a/c compressor, printed circuit behind instrument cluster, headliner redone professionally and reinstalled by dealership. I've added HID headlamp bulbs, AM/FM in dash CD player w/IPOD interface, hard wired radar detector, had all minor dents removed by dealer's PDR technician, repainted several panels for scratches (minor), and repainted/refinished both bumpers. Factory stock five cylinder/five speed 217hp with gray leather sport seats runs perfectly and gets 19mpg. Purchased from original owner in June 2008 who maintained at Audi dealer from new.103,347 miles but the odometer stopped registering additional mileage though the speedometer performs fine. This is an excellent example of a rare and wonderful Audi. If you have read this far you probably recognize the significance of this vehicle and it's rarity in such excellent condition. Though we enjoy owning this great Audi we just don't use it much and have too many cars competing for garage space. We have invested over twelve thousand, but we acknowledge that we overspent in restoring it, so the reserve is considerably less and we really want to sell it. It has been listed here previously and actually sold twice, once locally when the buyer was unable to complete the transaction due to funding, and last September a European won it with the intention of shipping it overseas but failed to fully pay and I cancelled the transaction after thirty days elapsed and refunded the amount he paid to that point.
