For sale is this beautiful 1967 Fastback. This mustang has the original 289 A Code engine, rebuilt 1500 miles ago. It along with the rest of the drive train is leak free. In addition the C-4 is original and was rebuilt at the same time. The rear end is also the original 8 inch 3.00:1. Featured is the GT Fog lamps, which were recently replaced with new components and wiring. Front disc brakes are factory. Front and rear (drum) brakes are new as well. The VIN comes back as a GT from Haggerty Insurance as well as the Vin Decoder. However, we do not have the original owners manual or the original window sticker. All of these features make this out to be a 289 GTA, which were produced but not marketed with the 390 C-6 GTA’s. They were essentially upgraded left over 289 A Codes with GT Features, pending the 302 J code engine to be released for the 68 production year. Yes it has the correct exhaust manifolds along with the GT dual exhaust. Recently new GT Leaf Springs and GTL shackles and bushings were installed. In the last year the interior has been gone through, new seat covers, headliner, dash, door panels; plus all the interior panels were painted to the correct black. The engine has had an Edelbrock 4 bbl performance intake along with an Edelbrock 1605 650 cfm carb added, plus was bored .030 over. All of the weather-stripping, roof rail seals, front and rear window rubber has been replaced in the last year. Correct X Code Vintage Burgandy paint, metallic. This was completed about 1.5 years ago, when the car was stripped and properly prepped. No rust anywhere and all original panels. This also has the turn signal hood, which are original equipment and operational plus have a new wiring harness. The BF Goodrich tires have less than 1500 miles as well, mounted on Torque Thrust 15 inch rims, which are also new. The center console is original, and the stereo system including the speakers were installed within the last year. Medium tinted windows add to the look. The heater has been disabled as the last step was to install a integrated A/C-heater system. This very nice Mustang has been in Las Vegas for 16 years, and came from California. It shows 88,000 miles on the odometer, but again is under 1,500 miles since the rebuilds on the drive train, plus all of othe aforementioned items.
