On the auction block this week is our absolutely stunning 2011 Backdraft Racing build AC Cobra 427 reproduction.  This car is finished in PPG pearl white paint with steel grey stripes and a red outline.  The photos don’t do this car justice, the color combination is absolutely gorgeous, this is easily one the best looking color schemes we've seen on a newer AC Cobra build.   As with all Backdraft cars, this one is a little longer wheelbase than the original AC making it far more comfortable for the taller and or bigger driver.  This car has an aluminum small block 427 built by Roush Racing that produces 552 horsepower and 525 foot pounds of torque, it is mated to a Tremmec TKO 600 5 speed.  Backdraft uses all BMW suspension components with coil over shocks, so it handles amazing.  This car is virtually new with only 500 miles and we just finished the California SB 100 process which makes it smog exempt in California.  With looks to kill and modern components this car is the full package, the only thing better than getting to see it drive by is sitting behind the wheel and feeling what this car is capable of, it is just a amazing piece of engineering with a work of art atop the chassis, Backdraft has created a masterpiece.  The car is listed as a 1965 so we could list the vin#, it is indeed a 2011 Cobra.  If you have any questions about the car feel free to get in touch, the direct number to our store is (916) 455-4556,  happy bidding!
