This machine is in great shape, and is mostly all stock. The motor is totally stock and has never been apart. This bike has very low overall hours and is a great AHRMA race bike or for your collection. Chances are if you are looking at this bike then you know that the 1993 CR250 is one of the most sought after and respected CR250 models, along with the 1974, 1979, 1980, 1987 and 1989 model CR250 models (as well as the 2005 2006 and 2007 models, but those are not yet considered "vintage"). The ’93 model is the bike that Jeremy “The King” McGrath raced from 1993 through 1996, and for which he earned his early championships with, and really become one of the sports greatest. About the only non stock item is the steel braided brake lines and special seat cover, which was made for a local dealer race team back in the day. I was told by the last owner that a very nice clean stock OEM seat cover is under the aftermarket dealer cover. I can see the edges of the OEM cover, but did not bother to remove it. The seat cover that is on it is from "The Brothers", which is a dealership in the pacific Northwest that is well known and respected amongst racers. Anyway, I will spare you the romantic fluffy stuff about the 1993 CR 250r and how great it was (and is). Here is some info about this specific bike, and what you probably are more interested in:Bike is in mostly all OEM Stock ConditionRenthal barsStock pipe with nice aftermarket alum silencer (with spark arrestor)Motor is 100% stockFrame is clean, some normal scuffs and wear, but nothing majorBars and levers are tight and straightAftermarket number plates Steel Braided brake lines front and rear for better feelAftermarket seat cover, bike has stock cover mounted under the newer oneVery clean, very good overall conditionGood tires, good chain and sprockets, bike needs nothing to go ridingClean title on bike, ready to goOverall a very nice low hour example of the 1993 CR 250No issues to noteGood air filterThe boring stuff (but please read): Shipping: I can and will help you with shipping if you need help. I would suggest you first contact and use Daily Direct for transport. Their phone number is 888-haulbikes, and they are professionals with a strong track record of moving expensive and nice motorcycles. I can and will ship international, but the buyer must coordinate this, as the process can be cumbersome. I will assist as best as possible and do have really good access to shippers to the UK, Europe and Australia. I can also ship to the middle east as well. Seller Notes: If you are a serious buyer, it is available to be shown locally, but we are not looking for tire kickers or time wasters. The bike is located in Northern California. Payment: A $1000 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of closing, as is a phone call or clear email on who you are and how you intend to close the deal. I am very easy to work with, but a little clear communication goes a long way. Paypal is fine for deposit. Cash is preferred, but we will take payment however is easiest for you for to send, as we understand that some buyers might be out of the country. Cash, wire transfer, bank check, Paypal, WU, Carrier Pidgin - whatever - but as long as it clears our bank and you are not playing the Nigerian lottery with me. If you are a serious buyer and have the money in hand, I am happy to talk to you on the phone about whatever questions or interest you have in the bike. But please, no time wasters or tire kickers. In case you are wondering anything about me as a seller, I have been on eBay since 1998 (thats 14 years) and have not one negative feedback. I am just a nut for older ATC's and dirt bikes from the 1980's and 1990's, and I have a nice collection of bikes that I have built up over 15 years of collecting. I am selling some (not all) of these bikes off.
