Vehicle Detail

Here is a vintage 1964 Honda 50cc model CA110 in very good running condition. There is NO title for this bike. I will provide a bill of sale. Heres what I know about this bike: I've had it for 2 months. It was sitting in a guys barn (he said) for nearly 30 yrs. I suspect it really was as its in decent condition and have no reason to not believe the guy. It was very dusty but the gas tank inside looked brand new (of course, it still does). Brought it home, dusted it off, checked the oil, removed the gas tank and flushed it out, put gas in it. Third kick it fired and ran for about 2 seconds. But the throttle and front brake cables were froze solid....so couldnt give it any throttle to keep it running. LSS, I took it to the motorcycle shop guys and had them set valves, tune-up, new cables, clutch inspection and adjustment, oil, etc. They called me a couple of weeks later and said come get it. I didnt even know how many gears the bike had at this point. I got there and they said it was in pretty good condition......that everything was working exceptionally well for a 50 yr old bike. I got it home and it is now a one-kick start bike...most of the time. I have been riding it a little every day or so and is doing fine. Now this little Honda has 9600+ miles on it. (rather unheard of for a 50cc motorcycle). So i dont know whats been done to it previously......but it runs and drives pretty good. It doesnt smoke much but I know it needs an overhaul because it loses power going up a hill. But out on the flats.....she runs just fine. No misses or problems. What does it need? First, if I was going to keep it, I'd freshen up the motor. It does leak oil underneath where the crankcase comes together. The shop said it likely needs all new seals/gaskets from sitting so long. I know it needs a chainguard. This chainguard is a two-peice affair (an upper and a lower) I found the upper half.....so now it just needs the bottom half. It is also missing the mudflap on the front fender. I think thats all.....but look closely at the pics as they will tell you as much as I know. (check out the four original Honda keys that have managed to stay with it all these yrs (pic). So if you have questions or want to come see it in person, I live in the extreme SW corner of Missouri. I will be glad to show it to you and answer all questions. I have another bike on ebay as well....and as I mentioned on that listing, I have a lg shop building and can keep the bike there until transportation can be arranged. Merry Christmas also, i can be reached at 479-644-6863
