1980 4x4 Mercedes Benz Unimog U1000 Here you have the Change to bid on a very nice and cool Unimog. This Unimog i bought few month ago from the Volkswagen Company in Wolfsburg. They use this Truck on the VW Testtrack in Ehra-Lessin. This Vehicle has just on owner in his life (VW AG), so it is in good shape for a 32 years old Unimog. After i bought the Truck, i let do some bodywork, change the old bed against a good used one, bought new fenders and let everything paint. There was just a few rust holes and all of them are welded. Inside the Unimog looks not bad, so it’s just painted outside. NO factory paint job but now the Truck looks very nice again! You can see also a few Pictures befor and since all the work has done. Technical Dates: First registration was Juli 14, 1980. 6 cylinder Diesel Engine with 95 hp (5.638 Liter) (can be driven with Biodiesel too) 8 gear manual Transmission (8 forward, 4 backward gears) with front and rear PTO. Mercedes writes Topspeed: 80 km/h (50mls/h) Lenght: 4,5 Meter (14,7 feet) Wide: 2,1 Meter (7 feet) High: 2,7 Meter (9 feet) UVW 4500 kg (9900 lbs) GVW 6800 kg (14960 lbs) 3 Seats Original Kilometerreading 94968 (59.000mls!!!) Engine shows 2793 hours !! 3 Hydraulic cricles, which can use in front or rear! NO dippercylinder! But dipperbed, if you need one i can order it for about 800 $ extra. Headed front Windshield!!! You can lock the axles and the center gearbox! Everyone who know Unimog, knows that this Trucks can go nearly everywhere with his powerfull engine, portalaxles, ...... Of course the Unimogs have power steerings and brakes.... I drive it home without every problems, everything works fine. The engine runs clean and strong and all the gears can be shift easily and without any problems. It also starts with the first tunthis cold winter days. Everything is in perfect working condition. This Truck is a classic Vehicle older then 25 years, so you can register it street legal in the States and Canada! Few years ago, i exported a lot of Unimogs, G-wagons, other Vehicles and Unimogaxles to America and other Countries. So don’t worry about import, it’s easier than you think. I also have a few friends in the USA, very familar with registration europen Vehicles. Ask me and i can give you contact dates, then you can ask for any detail you want to know. We will also help you with that point after you have bought the Truck. (This Truck i bought for a friend in the States too, but he had changed his plans so you had the change to buy it) Shipping is also no Problem. You can arrange shipping buy yourself, or i can send the truck next to your Home. The past shows, that it made sence to shipp just to the next international Seaport, where the new owner pick it up in person or by a company. Fell also free to ask anything you need to know about shipping. Single shipping request will take a few days! BUT, you have only to pay the exact shipping price. To give you a idea of shipping i had ask few qoutes: Baltimore (east cost) is about 2900 $ Port Hueneme (west cost) is about 4500 $ This included the trucking to german seaport. But notice, the qoutes are only approx and can vary a little. Lower or higher, the buy just had to pay the exact price for shipping. The Truck can be shipped to any international ro/ro Seaport. Payment Deposit of 500$ to my paypal account between 24 hours after auction close. The rest of the amount (included shipping, if i should book it) have to transfered to a german or american bank account. If there are any questions, please ask befor you bid!
