Overall, this DeLorean is in decent condition. It does need work, and I am selling it because I don't have the time or extra funds to give this car the proper care that it needs. The positives about the car: The body is in teriffic shape. There are no dents or dings. There are some minor scratches, mainly on the hood, but the beauty of stainless is that they can easily be removed. The car runs well and sounds nice, but there is a minor oil drip. (I notice about 5-10 drops of oil on the ground after it's been running.) All exterior lights, horn, wipers, heat, and both power windows function properly. Louvres, side vents and side mirrors recently refinished. Seats reupholstered, and driver side torsion bar and headliner replaced. No chips or cracks in any of the glass. Now, the negatives (aside from the ones already mentioned): The biggest problem with the car is that the front frame extension is rusted. A new one from DMC Houston is $1,400. The dashboard has cracks. The radio and fuel guage are disconnected. The passenger door needs an adjustment. The A/C doesn't blow cold. The fascias need to be refinished. Weather stripping and interior switches, knobs, etc. are worn. To the best of my knowledge, that's as accurate of a desription of the vehicles condition that I can make. I not only invite, but encourage any potential bidders to make arrangements with me to see the car, and I will answer all messages asap. The vehicle is being sold "as is", and the buyer is responsible for pick up or transport. I do appreciate any trade offers, but I can't accept them.
