Vehicle Detail
1970 OLDSMOBILE 442 W30! 455 BIG BLOCK! SOLID CAR! RUNS GREAT! BUCKET SEATS! We are selling a great project car that we just don't have time to get to. It's a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30. It has a 455cu in big block V8 backed by a 3 speed auto transmission. There is a very good chance that the engine is original but I'm not sure how to check for it so I'm selling it as non matching numbers. The transmission and rear end are believed to be original. It does have a 3.42 12 bolt rear end. The car itself is in good shape for what it is. The body is really solid. It will need a passenger side front floorpan and both rear outer quarter panels. The lower front fenders will need some minor patch panels. It was a factory Black car with the gold stripes. It also came with a Vinyl top. The car still has all of it's original panels including the factory hood and rear spoiler. All the windows are good. The headliner is good. The dash pad has a crack. We have all the stainless for the vinyl top. The car does run very strong. I do know the engine was overhauled a few years ago and has very few miles on it. The rear end does have the sway bar and factory boxed control arms. It does have power steering and power brakes with disc in front and drum in the rear. The car has the optional dual horns. The interior will need to be redone but 99% of the parts are there. This is a very good car and a very solid project. For any more information you may call or text Matt at 615-364-4835. NO TRADE OFFERS please! I have enough projects... that's the reason I'm selling this car.
