The 1977 Lotus Esprit S1, based on Giorgetto Giugiaro M70 concept, represented the height of 1970's sports car design. Made famous by turning from a car into a submarine in the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me the Esprit boasted 140 hp from a mid-engine 4 cylinder with 2 Zenith-Stromberg Carburetors. The five speed manual gearbox and four wheel disc brakes add to the performance. This particular car was first delivered to Lotus Cars USA to its first owner on the West Coast. Shows outstanding original cosmetic condition and displaying just over 27,000 miles. The striking exterior color is "Lemon" with a Lotus Green & Tartan interior. This is one of the most unique and iconic interiors ever produced. This Esprit is virtually untouched and original throughout.
