Up for auction is a 1978 Volkswagon Transporter Bus. Equipped with factory sun roof. This bus is very desirable because it has the 5 lug wheels with front disc brakes and the fuel injection motor. Runs and shifts good but it should be checked out before taking on the open road. It has a clear CA title but is non-op, so would need to be trailered to get it home. This bus was repainted by the owner before me and in good condition. New stereo installed with CD player, sub, amp, and connection for phone (or other device) to play music. Interior needs to be redone. Door and side panels have been removed but I have them. Headliner needs to be redone as shown in the photos and sunroof will not open or close. Seats are in good condition. It does have the rubber floor mats in front but not in rear and there is virtually no rust anywhere. Needs a glove box and new turn signal and heater control. Comes with books on restoration among others. This is a great start to a new restoration. Selling 'as is' and in 'used' condition. Local pick-up is preferred, but winning bidder can arrange for shipping/arrangements at their expense.
