Never thought this day would come.... I am thinning out my Vw collection that i've been hanging on for the past 12 years. My 92 Gti here I have owned since, i believe.... 2007. Hard to keep track of all 16 cars and toys : ) This GTI drive's and smells like a new one. Very tight and no noises coming from any moving or rattling pieces seats are firm and feel like NEW!! I purchased it on line from an insurance company that had salvaged it for a sale that was soon to come. I was the highest bidder on line when the sale took place : ) had the transport company take it to my storage. The parts that I replaced were all OEM VW parts. Grill was purchased new and the hood came off another red gti from a Volkswagen forum i am a member of. This is an ORIGINAL GTI with all the ORIGINAL VW parts down to the STOCK RADIO & SPEAKERS, no springs or muffler has ever been changed. The car has the original tear drop wheels. Or if you like the corrado wheels or the cabriolet wheels you can choose. The tires are not all that great. Standard features for the GTI included power brakes, power steering, bucket seats, alloy wheels, a rear window defroster, foglights, a tilt steering wheel, and a tachometer. In addition to the automatic transmission, optional equipment included air conditioning, a sunroof, and a cassette player. GTI comes with a 1.8-liter inline 4-cylinder powerplant that generates100 horses ; ) Great on GAS 22 city/ 33hwy New timing belt, tension pulley, seals, and oil, filters and fluids have been drained and properly filled.
