Classic 1977 Honda "CVCC" Civic, 2dr. hatchback. Body is straight (minor crease right rear taillight). Normal wear customary to age of vehicle, however vehicle had been stored for unspecified number of years. Weatherstrip above each door cracked but intact. Hatchback shows some sign of minor surface rust in channel above window. There is some minor pitting on inside driver door but can be lightly sanded to remove. The instrument pannel and dash are in very good condition, lettering pronounced, no cracks signs of UV damage. Radio is original AM and works well. Antennae is retractable and operates as it should. The tires are M/S and just installed. Overall the interior is in very good condition except for some cracking of the drivers' seat cushior and back rest (currently placed cover over, but will need to be upholstered at a later date. Estimate $150.00. The passenger seat is not damaged, however minor cracking along top seam on back rest. The engine is 1.5L Honda and runs great. I will choke it (manual factory choke installed in dash) when it is cold and it fires right up. The 4sp. manual transmission shifts smooth. The CV joints are very good and the boots are intact. If you have any questions, I would suggest you arrange to have someone inspect the vehicle before commiting to purchase. If there is any representation made by me that is shown to be false, I will pay for the inspection. I will gladly take it to anyone of your choosing within a 30mile radius of Grants Pass, Oregon (Medford).On Dec-08-12 at 13:54:32 PST, seller added the following information: I was able to locate original shop receipts dateing back to 2000-2003 in which the previous owner had brakes/clutch/cv joints-boots/valves/hoses/seals done. The carburator was just rebuilt and I had new tires installed. Arthuritus prevents me from enjoying driving this little car and I have difficulty with shifting.
