I have a 1992 Lexus SC400 with 290,000 miles on it. Oil just changed this weekend. The color is Garnet Pearl (deep red) and the interior is tan. It has All Weather 70,000 mile Sumitomo tires on it that have only about 20,000 miles on them. I have gotten the steering wheel re-wrapped (2007) ($400). I have also repainted the car in 2008. It has newer floor mats (2007) ($100). Brakes are less than a year, had the calipers, rotors and pads all replaced by front and rear. The timing belt and water pump was replaced about 20,000 miles ago so you're all set for another 70,000. Also, the front and rear struts were replaced ($1,000) within the last 2 years so the car rides real smooth. AC blasts ice cold. I have always used synthetic oil. I have always used Premium fuel. This car includes heated seats, K40 radar detector built in, 12-disc CD changer, power sunroof, windows, and locks, remote keyless entry, traction control (doesn't currently work along with ABS, I think it's a bad sensor, not too expensive or labor insensitive to fix), 16" alloy wheels, auto transmission with overdrive and power mode, power tilt, telescopic steering, intermittent wipers, rear defroster, rear spoiler, driver side lumbar, 8-way driver side setting, 4-way passenger side setting, digital climate control system, cruise control, custom sound system amp, speakers, sub all replaced in 2009, 2 way driver memory seat/mirror. Everything works on this car except ABS and Trac Control (they are both tied together). I love this car but just upgraded to an SC 430. The only problems with this car is that the leather looks weathered and the smashed in fender, headlight (bulbs work), and front bumper. I recently just drove it down to South Carolina and back and had no problems whatsoever with it. I would feel comfortable driving it to California if I had to. Just cosmetically with the deer accident it looks a little bad along with the worn out leather. Technically you don't need to do anything to the car and can just drive it if you so desire. Not many cars you can get for the price that are this reliable. It is a very fun car that is sporty yet very comfortable. It has a 250 hp 260lb torque V-8 engine.
