For Sale: One 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider Convertible. The Bad: This car has repaired floors and bondo in the quarter panels. You can see some repairs and bondo cracks above the rear wheels, but the repairs seem solid. New seat covers over torn originals. Dash cracks have been filled & dash repainted. The rear bumper is badly bent, and windshield has some wiper scratches. The dash and trim panels have been cut for a modern stereo, and those holes are currently covered to look better. A stereo & speakers should be added. Gas gauge, temp, and oil pressure gauges work. Speedometer and tach need to be hooked up. The Good: This car has recently been inspected and tuned at Alfa West - the best Alfa shop in Denver. The car's Spica fuel injection is freshly tuned, and the engine is running well with no smoke. The transmission has only slight wear to the 2nd gear synchro. The fuel tank and fuel filters were replaced. New battery & cables. The car's suspension is good, and it drives / rides well. Solid unrusted spare tire well. Original AR turbina rims. 1974 was the last year for the handsome stainless steel bumpers! The interior is clean and includes original AR rubber floor mats and seat belts. Shiny red paint, and cool real wood steering wheel. The top is nearly new upgraded cloth top - unfaded and with a clear flexible rear window. This nice little spider is a fun little convertible, and will be a great Christmas gift. Just add a big red ribbon & bow! :) You can't get a marginal Miata for my asking price - and an Alfa is so much better looking!
