Up for auction is a 1970 challenger numbers matching 340 car. Originaly black with white interior. Options are chrome mirrors, luggage rack, rallye guages, rimblow, r/t hood, 15x7 rallyes, am 8track, rear defogger, I DO NOT have the am 8 track or rear defogger. This is a restoration project that does not run. Here is a detailed description. Hood is in excellent condition underside has no pitting. left fender is very solid with no swelling on the bottom it has some minor blistering on top edge near the back. right front fender is rust free but has some minor dents. Doors are solid but have some blistering in the corners. trunklid seam is swelled but has no rust thru. The car will need drivers side floor pan i do have a new repro. rest of floors are very solid. It will need a trunk pan i have a new two piece. it will need trunk extensions. I have a new left side. It will need quarters. I have a new older repro left side. Somebody already installed the right extension and quarter but it does not look very good i would redo it. Frame and torsion bar member is solid and nice. grille and bezels are in excellent condition. Taillights are in nice condition with virtualy no pitting. Has all 15x7 rallye wheels complete. valances are nice. Has original windshield with not wiper marks. rallye guage panel is in excellent condition along with the woodgrain. Dashpad is cracked. Speaker grilles and fader are present. This car has been in storage for 20 years. It was pulled apart for restoration. Right inner fender was started to be replaced it will need to be finished up welding. rocker was replaced due to hit. It will need to be finished welding. The trans was rebuilt back in 94 and never used. The engine was suppose to run very strong but I cannot verify. Has the correct 974 radiator. Car also has a 3.91 posi. Cowl numbers are there. core support looks to have been changed early in its life no numbers on it Vin is on the motor and trans. Here is your chance to restore a numbers matching 340 black challenger. Not to many left to restore. Why buy a rusty 318 or non numbers car to restore.
