BEAUTIFUL 1968 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS CLONE! 396 BBC! TH 400! 12 BOLT!! We have a beautiful 1968 Chevy Chevelle SS Clone for sale. This car is a true eye catcher! It has fully built 396 Big Block Chevy. The engine is far from stock and has a super street and strip camshaft, Offenhauser 360 intake, 800cfm holley, Long tube Headers and a full Flowmaster exhaust system. The Turbo 400 automatic was built at the same time as the engine and was also built with a 2,400rpm stall and shift kit. There are too many new parts in this car to list them all but overall every thing is new or rebuilt on this car. It has a 3.07 gear 12 bolt rear end and ladder bars to help keep this car under control. It has a quick ratio manual steering gearbox and manual disc brakes. The car rides on nice SS wheels with new reproduction Mickey Thompson tires. The car started out a Malibu Sport with a 307V8 4 speed. The undercarrige has also been fully restored an is in top condition. The interior is in great condition and features buckets seats with console shift. The car is 100% rust free and all the body panels, floorpans, and trunk pan are in excellent shape. The paint is PPG base clear with 6 coats of clear. The paint is in showable condition but does have a few minor imperfections. This is a very good driving car with a ton of power. Everything works as it should (including lights, gauges, and windows) with the exception of the car needing a heater core and the factory radio doesn't work. The engine compartment needs to be cleaned and detailed along with the carb needing to be resealed (leaks down when it sits for a few weeks). This is a factory equipt A/C car and everything is still in place except for the Compressor, Condensor, and underhood fluid lines. I would feel comfortable driving this car across the country.
