Vehicle Detail

We are DC Motorsports, Inc. We buy, restore and sell classic cars and motorcycles. The owners have owned and restored hundreds of classics over the years. We are starting to use Ebay for some of our special vehicles. Please watch for additional classics that we will be marketing in the future, including a 1964 Galaxie 500XL coupe with an original 390/4 speed, a 1957 Ford Custom with a 427 top-oiler motor and 4 speed and a 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix convertible with a 428 motor. This is an original 1973 Cadillac Eldorado 2 door convertible. The odometer shows about 44,500 miles which, while not verified, we believe to be accurate based on the condition of the vehicle. It is a true red/red car, and has the 500 cubic inch motor with 3 speed automatic transmission and functioning automatic level control system. This is a high-quality unrestored example of the iconic front wheel drive Eldorado, Cadillac’s “personal luxury cruiser” and their only convertible for 1973. Here is more detailed information on the key aspects of the car: Exterior: This is a true red exterior and red interior automobile, with a white convertible top. The paint on this Eldorado looks outstanding and is original, except for a re-paint of the hood at some point in its life. There is no visible rust anywhere, and we are not aware of there ever having been any rust. The trim looks very nice with no missing pieces. The car comes with its original parade boot in the matching red color, which is in excellent condition. You will get noticed everywhere you go! Convertible top: The top is new and is in excellent condition. The power unit works well and latches appropriately. Interior: The interior is in excellent shape. There is minimal wear for a 44,500 mile car. The dash has no missing pieces and looks very nice, the carpet is original and looks good, and the seats are all in good shape. You can tell from the pictures that this car was well taken care of its entire life. Please let us know if there are any additional pictures that you would like. Drivetrain: This is a correct numbers matching vehicle. It has the big Cadillac 500 cubic inch (8.2 liter) motor, mated to the factory original 3 speed automatic transmission. At 4,966 pounds, it is a heavy vehicle, but the big V8 pulls it around very nicely. The car rides very well and tracks straight. Suspension and Chassis: The underside of this car is in great shape. There is no rust and the suspension works as it should. This is one of the nicest examples of the 1973 Cadillac Eldorado convertible that we have seen. The car is gorgeous on both the outside and inside, and the drivetrain is in great shape. The old saying has never been truer, “They don’t build them like this anymore!” We encourage you or your agent to come look at this fantastic automobile. The pictures really do not do this car justice. As is the case with all classic vehicles, this car is being sold as is where is, with no warranty (express, written or implied). While we believe all descriptions to be accurate, they are no substitute for your own evaluation. It is the responsibility of the buyer to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and satisfy him or herself as to the condition and value of the vehicle. Terms: Please remember that by placing a bid on this vehicle, you are entering into a legally binding contract to purchase. Have inspections performed, questions asked, and financing obtained before placing a bid. We require a non-refundable $1,000 deposit paid within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Full payment must be made with 7 days. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but we will help in any way possible. We have earned an excellent reputation in this business, and we work very hard to maintain it. Please let us know how we can improve your buying experience. Good luck bidding. If you have any additional questions or would like specific pictures, please e-mail through Ebay, or call Daryl at 612-701-3921.
