1941 Ford Pickup BODY 6" chop A pillars were slanted the roof was NOT cut down the middle. Door handles shaved and electric door poppers. Windows are electric, switches are hidden. Dash is stock with the addition of Dolphin gauges, headlight switch, and ignition switch. Seats are from a early 90's Foxbody Mustang. Interrior is carpeted black with all black interrior pannels with the exception of behind the seats, this cannot be seen from outside the vehicle so a panel was never made. Shifter is a Gennie shifter 28" Ultra Shifter. Grille is from a 1938 Ford truck as is the hood, the hood has been extended 3" to make room for the 460. Bed is custom made to look period correct it is contoured to the frame and holds the gas tank and can easily hold a good sized cooler and a few lawn chairs. Headlights are Dietz type from Speedway and taillights are 59 Cadillac LED's frenched. Spun Alumnium gas tank. Paint is Rustoleum regal red with flattening agent added and some flat black to darken it up, frame is Rustoleum gloss black. Pinstriping was done by Darin Allen of Killer Designs by Darin. Chassis Frame is 2x4 1/4" wall tube with a 4" kickup in the front and 17" kickup in back. Front suspension is Speedway kit with a 4" drop tube axle 26" spring behind and hairpins. Pete & Jakes shocks. Front brakes are Chevy disc brakes from Speedway. Rear axle is a Ford 9" with 3.90 gears and it is open. Rear suspension is also hairpins with Carrera coil-over springs Steering box is 48 Ford connected to a GM tilt column that has been shortened, turn signals are canceling. Tires are diamondback classics radial wide whites. Engine and Trans Engine is Ford 460 backed by a C6 transmission, both are from mid 70's. Engine is rebuilt with .030" over flat top pistons and a Comp Cams Thumpr cam. Cam has great sound and is very streetable. Older Elderbrock intake that was chrome but chrome is not in best of shape, cannot be seen with hood on. Carb is Edelbrock 1406. Distributor is a Mallory Unilite. Radiator is a Griffin 4 core with Spal cooling fan. Transmission is Ford C6 that is also rebuilt with all new seals and clutches and a Hughes 2500RPM torque convertor was installed. This is a 4 year old build that has never been trailered and I have had it to shows up to 4 hours away and would not think twice about going again. Truck drives strait and brakes well, it was built to be driven and enjoyed. Paint is what you would expect for a 4 year old driver, it is in fair condition but it does have spots where it is chipped/scratched/cracked. $500 payment through pay-pal will be due at end of auction within 24 hours, Non-refundable.
