Offered is a 1968 250SL Mercedes Benz in powder blue with a blue interior. I am listing it for a friend that purchased it 5 years ago from a New England professor that bought it new while in Germany, hence the speedometer only reads in Km. In those 5 years about 1000 miles have been added to the original mileage of 61,512 Km (38,014 Mi.). The current owner has had the following repairs done by a Mercedes technician to bring the automobile up to great running condition: 1, totally rebuilt front end (approx. $2,000.00) 2, Full exhaust which was ordered from Germany (approx.. $3,300.00) 3, Complete brake system 4, Hella fog lights installed but the original lights will go with the sale but in need of restoration 5, New rag top. The car has always been garaged and was repainted approximately 20 years ago. The forward part of the passenger side rocker panel (shown in last picture) should be restored properly and at that point the body would be in wonderful condition. New Michelin tires are installed.
