Vehicle Detail

Hello, I am selling a fully restored 1967 Camaro with a nitrous injected 468 cubic inch Big Block Chevy producing nearly 600 horses! AND 600 foot pounds of torque at the wheels! It is fully registered and insured with all the paperwork and ready to take on a test drive today! I built it as a street/strip car that could easily run 11's in the quarter but still handle well as a driver/street cruiser. It's covered in a custom pearl/metallic midnight blue with two traditional white racing stripes. This car is by no means a trailer queen and is built to be driven and used. It has a huge dual core double pass aluminum radiator with dual electric fans in conjunction with an optional solid mount mechanical flex fan for those hot summer days stuck in traffic. I've also incorporated separate engine and transmission oil coolers so there is no worry about keeping this bored out 468 cool. Its being geared by a completely rebuilt and beefed up tubro-400 3 speed automatic transmission capable of delivering all 600 horses to the pavement. The rear end is a completely rebuilt 12 bolt with 3.73 gears and aftermarket axels and is attached to upgraded muti-leaf springs and slapper bars. Car has power steering and power breaks so it a breeze to drive on the street. The interior has been completely redone with newer more comfortable seats, race shifter, new gages, and steering wheel. The engine was first built on a digital dyno to acquire the highest torque to horsepower ration over the largest power curve of rpms. And that's exactly what we did. Starting with the bottom end we used a brand new OEM crank held down with 4 bolt main caps pushing forged rods with chrome molly bolts and hypereutectic pistons all on top of a deep dish chrome 8 quart oil pan. For the top end we started with a street strip comp cam, hydraulic lifters, chrome molly push rods, forged aluminum roller rockers, hardened valve seats for the nitrous all under an Edelbrock medium rise intake manifold and a holly 750 double pumper carburetor. The heads have ported oval shape ports flowing into ceramic coated 2-1/2 inch hooker headers joining a dual 3-1/2 inch exhaust system accompanied by two Flowmaster mufflers. The ignition utilizes a msd distributor and ignition with igniter box and a digital programmable retard box for the different stages of nitrous and or street/strip driving use. The nitrous is controlled and released in two stages as a wet injection. The first stage is triggered at (WOT) wide open throttle and the second stage is triggered at the push of a button on the shift knob other wise known as a "Go Baby Go" button. As I said before the car was built to be able to easily drive to the drag strip but I was never able to finish all of the NHRA safety regulations for the time class I was shooting for so the nitrous has never been used and the car has never been pushed or beat up. The engine probably has under 500 miles on it so it is definitely broken in but barely used. Bottom line if you are looking for a sweet fully restored American muscle car for under $20,000 that can out jump almost any car on the street then this is the car for you.
