Vehicle Detail

Up for sale here is my bang around running to the dump/ Lowes/ Garden center mulch getting truck. I am selling this as a fixer upper for parts or restoration. The truck really has alot of pontential but is has alot of rust, It still runs awesome and i hate to see it go but I have to make room for the other 9 cars around here. If it werent for the very rusty undercarriage, It would definitely be one of the keepers!! It has rusted through on all the wheel wells and the rocker panels, the tailgate. As you can see by the pictures of the underneath, its rough. The V10 8.0L engine fires up every time and runs great. Transmission shifts great, 4x4 works great. Last year I towed a Cadillac Seville from Erie Pa with this truck up over all the mountains and it didnt even break a sweat. The shift linkage seems like it needs a tweak as sometimes it wouldn't go solid into park and I had to shift into nuetral to start the truck. Iam positive it could be a simple adjustment on the linkage. All in all, I love the truck but dont have time for it or room to have it hanging around for the 3 to 4 times a year I use it. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION, Any bid is a winning bid. But remember this is a restoration or buy for parts auction . Due to SEVERAL questions regarding inspection, the truck is not State inspected as I hardly ever used the truck and fell into an exempt status because of the limited use (under 3000 miles per year) I have no idea what it would take to get it through inspection or if it would go. hence the reason I am selling it as a restoration project or parts vehicle. Unfortunately I dont have time to investigate otherwise if I did, I would more than likely wouldn't be willing to take such a low price for such a hefty truck. I know it needs front shocks. But thats about all i know. I believe all the lights work (haven't driven it at night in over a year) the floors seem solid but the undercarriage looks rough and all wheel wells and rocker panels are rotted as well as the tailgate. The bed seems solid and it does have a bed liner in it but appears to have had a fifth wheel hitch in it at one point as there is a hole cut in the center. Sorry I couldn't be more help, but feel free to call me if you have any additional questions. 215-692-9536 Chuck For now, assume it wouldn't pass.On Nov-29-12 at 14:08:02 PST, seller added the following information: Hello again, Wow this truck is getting alot of interest, But I still am getting alot of questions regard what it will take to get the truck through inspection. As I mentioned previously, I dont know because i had no need to given its limited amount us use, I didnt have to worry about it. With that, all I can say is I start it, it runs, trans shifts fine and solid, 4 wheel drive worked good the 2 times I used it (tested it again recently) The truck is actually surprisingly quiet running down the road and seems solid. I know the front shocks are bad so the front end bounces with each dip and crevis. It has Michelin tires on it that I believe pass inspection (but not by much). to those people who are thinking of this truck as more than a parts truck, I would simply suggest trying to come look at the truck before the auction closes and then you will get a picture of what specifically you are wanting to know. thanks again for looking
