This is one of the best Smart Cars in the country. How can I say that? Because I bought it new and know every mile that it has travelled. We moved to the beach in 2008 and we chose this car because it gave us room in our garage for bikes. I drove it as my main source of transportation for two years and was surprised by how large it was inside and how nimble it was on the freeway. We then moved to a larger home and bought a vacation home in the desert where this car has been for the last 2 years. It has been in a climate controlled garage and driven monthly. It has all possible options for that year, plus the battery was recently replaced and the 30,000 mile service was performed early including brakes and wipers - no worries. All work has been performed by the dealer and I have all receipts. No smoking or pets in this car! It has the factory installed shift kit that makes it faster off the line without losing gas mileage. Below are the options it has: Heated leather seats Automatic headlights Automatic wipers Electric power steering Red metallic paint Tridion silver metallic center section Anti-theft alarm Fog lamps Gauge package on dash – tach and clock Chrome wheels I purchased a 5 year, 100,000 mile extended warranty when new, so you are covered through the end of June, 2013. There were 4 levels, this is the top level that covers everything. There is a $50 transfer fee that you will pay if you want to take over the plan. I have all of the original paperwork including the window sticker. My price out the door was $24,000. I am selling it now because we are empty nesters and I have a 4X4 Jeep that we will keep out in the desert. Clear title and Carfax – no excuses on this car!
