FAQ: Q. So what do you mean the car does not run? A: The engine does not run. The battery is dead, when you try to jump it it turns over, sounds like it wants to start but does not. Q: Have you tried to figure out why its not running? A: I did some basic checks that one person can do by himself- sprayed ether, that did not seem to do much. Did not check for spark. Fuel relay under glove box clicks. Oil level fine but dirty. Antifreeze a little low. Q: Can you get the car running? A: If you would like, after purchasing the vehicle I can have the car taken to a shop of your choice to diagnose and repair it. Transport to there and repairs will be at your expense. If I spend more time on it I could get it running but frankly I have too much to deal with to putter with this one. I would rather see it go to a good home where they will take good care of it as the last owner apparently did. The wagon is way too clean and nice to just part out. The body is EXCELLENT- no rust, not even on the rear hatch! You dont see many 240 wagons like this that have a nice body like this one! **NO RESERVE** If you don't know of these cars, the 240 series was made by Volvo for about 18 years and its probably the BEST car they EVER MADE. People who own one don't want to sell them. They are BULLETPROOF RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, SAFE, EASY TO FIX, parts are cheap and abundant.
