You will be bidding on a 1988 Chevrolet Suburban. It is equipped with a 454 big block Chevrolet engine and a turbo 400 transmission. This Suburban is two wheel drive. It is ready to pull your boat, camper, car trailer or what ever else you have that needs to be pulled. Pictures speak for themselves but just to make sure you get the whole picture I will fill you in on some details. ENGINE: Like I said it has a 454 engine backed by a turbo 400 transmission. The engine and transmission runs and shifts great for its age. the vehicle has 112,000 showing on the speedometer. About 4 months ago the speedometer started flopping around then eventually stopped working. I put a new cable in and replaced all the light bulbs in the dash why I was at it. This did not fix it. There is a reducer off of the transmission(externally) that is bad. I could not find the correct one. I did put one in that is close but its not working. I will say at most I put 1,000 miles on it since the speedometer broke but its more like 500 miles. Otherwise drivetrain is solid. INTERIOR: The interior is in very good to excellent condition. New headliner and the bottom cushions of the front seats were reupholstered. Carpets a little dirty but for the age in great condition. Everything works that I can remember. Power windows a little slow but work. A/c could use a charge but it does work with a full charge. Heater works great and all the gauges except for the speedometer. Body: Well as you can see the paint looks great but as all Suburbans it does have it's usual rust in the rear quarter panels. Rear bumper has a small bend. Other than that body is in pretty good shape. OVERALL: I paid over 3200.00 for this vehicle just under 2 years ago I think it's been now. I had the seats and the headliner redone and put 3 to 4 thousand miles on the truck. I have a car trailer I tow with it. It's been very good to me for what I needed it for. Was only used a couple of days out of the month and that was it. My reserve is less than what I paid for it. Bought another Suburban so this one needs to go. You can inspect it, drive it, touch it, or kick the tires before you buy it if you like. Once the bidding is over and your the winning bidder the truck is yours.
