Vehicle Detail
Hello, You are bidding on a 1975 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser and it was even my wedding car. It's sad but now it's time to see her go on and make someone else as happy as I was. Read on and giver her a look because it's a great head turner and could also be a great car for someone in high school or college. This cruiser has been garage kept since I've owner her for the last 3 years. She is a fully operational with very little needed to put her in flawless condition. Rust is minimal and has not been repaired with any sheet metal or bondo. The engine runs and starts every time, though when she is cold and hasn't been driven for a while she needs a little motivation with the gas pedal. The engine runs smooth and sounds great (I have videos if you wish to see). As far as the engine is concerned, the choke is disconnected, but I've never needed it, everything else is fine. Radiator, starter, alternator, etc... all working condition and ready to go. The 4 wheel drive, brakes and suspension are all in great working condition. The only exception is the parking brake, I believe it just needs to be adjusted as it works but it seems to be a little loose. The body, is virtually flawless. Very little rust. Rust that is there is really surface rust from screws. All the labels and trim are there and look great. Underbody has been painted with a corrosion protection paint. Most of which has done the job, however you will see some spots where some surface rust is showing up. Either way a nice piece of mind for protection from the rust man. There have been a couple of features that were added by the previous owner that I have left as is for now. A stereo was added but the wiring is now bad and would need to be fixed. A tachometer and level were added. The tachometer is something that is nice but not really needed as shifting is easily done by sound and it would clean up the look a little. The shifter knob was replaced with an 8-ball knob, definitely not original and not my favorite, I just never changed it. Comes with a partial soft top if you ever decide to pull off the hard top. Please contact me if you would like more pictures or videos. I didn't want to post 30 pictures on here for people that aren't serious buyers. Good luck and please feel free to email me if you have any questions! $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction closing. Freight is responsibility of the buyer.
