Purchased this vehicle in 1970 to move our boat down to Lake Erie Shores to launch our boat each year. Truck did wonderful job however we purchased a larger boat and should get a larger truck. Over the last 40 years nearly everything has been well maintained or repaired. Truck has 16" standard tubeless tires that are old, vacuum assist wipers and am radio. Truck very powerful for it's age, engine rebuilt 1991. The current motor came with the truck, it has forged pistons, the larger size valves, sport cam that became standard in the 1957 Y blocks, vacuum advance distributor plus other special items. Drove truck to Hersey, Pa with no problems [700 miles] Issues: oil filter canister drips oil where mounted to block, antenna broken, automatic choke assembly on side of manifold froze up and was taken off, should get repaint to make perfect. Many oem spare parts saved up including 4 new oem 15" wheels, drove truck total 12,000 miles while we had it. Always stored in a heated garage with the boat. Hoping buyer would want to continue good home.
