Vehicle Detail
Im selling my 1999 camaro SS. First off the car needs a motor. Once again, it needs a motor. The car will start and run but has a slight noise to it, and I honestly couldn't tell you what it is. The plan was to build a motor but now I just need rid of the car. It has ben my Sunday driver car for the 4 years and is always garage kept. The turbo kit has ben on for 3 years now, though I haven't drivin it very much the past few. The car started as a stock SS and I had the SLP longtube headers, and turbo kit all installed over the time I owned it as well as a GM hot cam with LS6 valve springs. It has 11 inch wide ZR1 replica rear wheels with 315 nitto 555Rs that have less than 2000 miles on them. The front tires also have less than 2000 miles on them and they are Nitto NT05s. The interior is in great shape. When I raced the car a few years ago at our 1/8 mile track it ran a 7.9, which is pretty good though a good tune would really benefit it. The car is only running about 5-6 psi boost. A few things are held together with zip ties and aren't "professionally" installed, but have ben that way for years with no problems. Heck the A/C even still works. The transmission has ben professionally rebuilt before I bought the car with receipts over $3000,00. That was less than 10,000 miles ago so the transmission is perfect still. The bad is, of course, the car needs a motor. I believe it needs a head gasket, but expect the worst. People looking at vehicles always think it's something small and get dissappointed and i'm tired of dealing with it. I have not drivin the car since something happened to the motor other than moving it in and out of the garage. Oil is clean but seems to have anti-freeze in it. There is a dent on the rear right quarter by the tail light. The car has a front mount intercooler but I never got around to plumbing it in. There are some scratches on the lower rocker panels as well as some small filled in marks on the hood from scratches. I had somone load the car onto a trailer when I noticed the noise and the left header has pulled away from the Y-pipe so it leaks now, a 5 minute fix as nothing is broken, but I do not want to deal with it. Over all the body i'd give a 6-7 though no imperfections are noticable unless you are up close, and it's a darn good looking car. Also the rear differential yoke seal leaks a bit. Just a drip here and there when running. I'm not going to give this car away, because a drop in LS1 is going for around $1500 and a black on black 6 speed with ttops and leather camaro SS is somewhat rare. The price is fair, and I think it's worth what i'm asking, and i'm selling the car more for space than needing money. Please ask me any questions about the car, but once again, the car needs a motor, so don't plan on driving it home. If you arrive and for some reason absolutely do not want the car, though i've desribed it as best as I could, I will keep the deposit and you have the option to not purchase it, but anyone is welcome to look at the car before bidding.
