The legendary 1.9L TDI motor fires right up each time and it sounds solid with plenty of power and torque. With 105-K this motor hasn't even broken in as these motors are known to last a long time. The 5-Speed Manual Transmission shifts smoothly thru all the gears with no synchro problems and the clutch grabs strong and it does not slip. The Timing Belt has already been replaced once and it is in great shape. When we got the car we had it inspected and replaced all 4 glow plugs on it. The outside body is in great shape for its age with nicks and marks here and there which is normal for a car this age. The interior has the cloth seats, cd player, the arm-rest is broken and the glove compartment handle is missing. The tires are in fair shape. I personally drove this car for over 200 miles and the car drove great. All and all this is a great running TDI!
