For sale we have a 1976 Mercedes Benz 450SL Hard Top Convertible. This beauty was traded into us for a pick-up truck. The previous owner had the car for 12 years and took a very good care of it. The car was always garaged and always babied and driven only in nice weather. If you look at the body, for its age and miles the body looks in great shape. The undercarriage however is rock solid as seen in the picture as well. The interior is in great shape as well. The seats are nice and tight, an option that you do not see in many 450SL's is the fact that this one has the California Bucket rear seats. The car comes with a hard top and the soft top convertible. The soft top was replaced by the previous owner 2 years ago. The 4 tires are in excellent shape. THE PREVIOUS OWNER REBUILT THE TRANNY TO THE CAR 2 YEARS AGO. SO THE CAR DOES HAVE A REBUILT TRANSMISSION. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY WITH NO ISSUES. The car also comes with a cover which was used for 12 years by the previous owner.
