Vehicle Detail
I have an all original 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne for sale with a VERY LOW RESERVE. It is basically a "barn find" with no motor or transmission. It has never been restored or modified in any way. It was originally a 283/2-speed powerglide car. It has original paint and (had original upholstery) a front bench seat. The exterior is missing one quarter panel trim along the body line and a wiper arm. The bumpers are super straight and the chrome shines well with no pits. The left rear cove trim can be straightened and restored. Other than that the exterior is complete. It needs a trunk bath tub pan (center section only), small patch panels on bottom of fenders and quarters and floor pan repair (rear seat pan and two small corner sections on both front floor pans.) The rest of the body is relatively straight. The front edge of the hood, rocker panels, body to frame mounts and windshield channels are solid and dry! The front grille and trim is near perfect with minor flaws. All the glass is clear with no scratches, cracks or chips. I removed the rear windshield to inspect the rear widow channel (rust free) and it is included with the sale. The windows roll up smooth. The body panels are aligned very well and the doors open and close properly. It is perfect to restore to stock, Super Stock, Stock Car or lowrider. It is a perfect canvas for whatever your taste. I intended on making it a vintage Stock Car race car. Everything I took off (worth saving) is in the trunk (sun visors, one wiper arm, dog dish hub caps, dash surround, gauge cluster, headlamp bezels, side trim, all wiring, seat belts, e-brake mechanism, heater box with heater core, headliner bows, horns, heater controls, switches, door sill plates and interior trim pieces. All the wiring harnesses are in tact and no wires were cut during removal. I spent $700 on brand new 15x8 inch black steel wheels with 245/60 15 white letter tires (still sporting the toothpaste coating) and chrome lug nuts. It also has new hood hinges and a new wood spoke steering wheel ($155.) I spent hours gutting out the interior and wire wheeling the entire floor pan from the front bulkhead to trunk. This car would benefit from someone bringing it back to life. I have a clean California title and it is currently registered through OCT 2013.
