Thank you for looking at my 1997 Mercedes-Benz S500 sedan. This car has just 42,000 original miles, and I am the second owner. It has a clean Carfax. The S-series is the top of the line Mercedes, and the S500 was their flagship V8 sedan in 1997. Most Mercedes-Benz experts will tell you that the S-series cars from the mid/late 1990s were the best ever made. As you can see from the pictures, the car is in near mint original condition…it has absolutely no rust, dents, dings, and no interior rips or stains. It ’s hard to imagine any 1997 car in better condition. The driver’s seat shows almost no wear, and the other seats look like they’ve never been used. This car has all of the options you would expect from the top of the line Mercedes, including plush leather, power sunroof, power windows (double paned) , power locks, heated power seats, cruise, climate control, rear trunk release, etc., all which function as they should. This Mercedes starts, runs, shifts, and stops as it should. There are no leaks, warning lights or rattles anywhere or at any speed. The car has four brand new tires. This Mercedes-Benz retains all of the quality, exclusivity, and pride of ownership that it had when new. This Mercedes retailed for over $80,000 in 1997, and it’s the most car you will find in the $11,000 range today. Think of what $11,000 buys you now…maybe a five year old Kia, or about one quarter of a Ford Taurus.
