Vehicle Detail
This is a 1969 Chevelle Malibu 350 from my 93 year old late great uncle's barn. I think he bought it in the 80s with plans to restore it. We pulled it out, put some tires on it and cleaned some junk out of it. It has alot of missing parts, but still some good stuff. The frame appears to be solid, but the trunk and floor pans are garbage. The doors seem nice and solid, and they open and close correctly. The windows operate as well. No cracked or broken glass, but the windshield has milky spots. The drivers seat appears to be a correct chevelle bucket, but not sure about the passenger seat. The console and seats are not bolted down, just sitting there. The interior is very incomplete. Under the hood, the motor and trans are just laying there, not bolted down or in the right place. I ran the numbers on the block and they came back as a 76 Chevy 350 with 4 bolt mains, and the trans appears to be a 400 turbo. The motor does not turn freely. The inner fenders are plastic and seem nice. The radiator support is rotton. The cowl tag is missing as well. The quarters and fenders have some soft spots, and there are a couple rotton spots in the metal around the windshield and rear window. I added pictures of these spots. Its safe to say this car needs a ton of metal work. The rear end is a 10 bolt, and the diff cover and brake drums are missing. Also there are no shocks on the car so plan on extra straps to prevent major bouncing during transport. I have a crispy old title that my great uncle never signed as the buyer. The seller signed and dated it in 86, so the new buyer will need to sign and pay a full year back liscense(75 bucks in iowa on classics that have been sitting for 3 years or more). The wheels roll free and the steering works so loading shouldnt be too difficult if you bring a winch. This vehicle is being sold AS-IS, where is. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and concerns. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due through paypal within 24 hours of auction end. Full payment by cash in person or wire transfer is due within 3 days of auction end. No returns or refunds. Thanks for bidding. Check out my other auctions for more cars and parts from this estate.
