Vehicle Detail
For sale today is a very nice 1955 Chevy Bel Air Hard Top. The Body was professionally redone about 3 years ago. All the trim and bumpers were removed and car was brought down to bare metal where it was needed. From there the car was sealed, primed, and was completely blocked sanded. After that the car was painted in Gypsy Red(code RS675) and Pearl White(code QT1). The car was then baked and once cured was completely wet sanded and buffed. I have complete documentation of the all the body work/paint completed.(many pictures and reciepts). The car does get driven in the summer, but has seen only minor road wear/blemishes. I would have to say at this time the paint rates at an 8/10(its not perfect but it's close.) The trim and bumpers are all in fair/good condition with only a few pieces that have light pitting that would need replacement. The drive train is completely sound. It has a 396 bored out to a 402(big block), which was completely rebuilt from the bottom all the way up about 5000 miles ago. (includes but not limited to pump, rods, bearings, pistons, crank(machined),cam, timing chain, heads(roller rockers),intake,etc..)The motor dynoed 345 HP @ 4500 rpm and 390 FPT @ 3500 rpms..)Like the body I have full documentation and reciepts of the motor build. The transmission is an M-22 Rockcrusher. It was gone through about 8 year ago and still shift nice and smooth. The reverse lock out has been disengaged. The rear end is a gm 12 bolt with 3:50 gears and is also in very good order. The car is also equipped with disc brakes all the way around and they work great. I have owned the car for 13 years and it has been well taken care of. I'm only selling the car because it simply doesnt get driven anymore and deserves a good home. The car runs, drives, and looks great. It has won many trophies and awards, although it's not a trailer baby, it is a very nice weekend driver/show car. I have alot more picture of the car from the body work to it's current state.(avaliable upon request). If you have any questions about the car please feel free to call me at 715-587-1442(corey) Thank You
