BRIEF AND HONEST DESCRIPTION Finally up for sale is my 1975 Merzedes Benz 450 SL Roadster ** 98 k actual miles She needs: Body work - Damage to front/right, non-runner Car needs to be towed Thorough description: 1975 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL 2D Roadster / Convertible clear title, California car, titled in CA VIN 10704412027956 automatic transmission V8 Cyl. 4.5 Liter DOHC RWD only 98 k miles white, dark blue leather interior SMOG exempt !!! Means: no smog required. FEATURES automatic transmission, pwr/windows, pwr/locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, pwr/steering, full leather interior, premium wire-style knock-off wheels, full size spare wheel, air/conditioning, armrest with console, 3rd brake light, hard top; I will throw in the original BECKER stereo radio once bids exceed $1,200. I tested my spare one - that's the one in the picture. Otherwise the vehicle will be sold without a radio. Engine: I drove the car 15 miles to my garage: engine and transmission worked well. However, I sell her as a non-runner! Needs battery, radiator, fan shroud and r/h lower control arm (slightly bent) - so you have to tow her. Automatic Transmission: Shifts smoothly through all gears, no issues observed during time of my use. I accelerated to 50 mph and drove a total of 15 miles before I parked it, that was over a year ago. Interior: Mediocre, two bigger rips on the sides of the front seats. Soft top: I haven't used it at all. HARD TOP comes with it, painted in MB color. Exterior/Body: Front/Right damage: needs hood, grille, front bumper, radiator support, r/h lower control arm, head lamp, r/h fender, r/h front tire. But it is a beautiful car: nice color combination. It is worth fixing it. Unfortunately, I don't have the space anymore! History: Clear title, CA vehicle, titled in CA. Summary: I am getting rid off my toys! No time anymore!
