Vehicle Detail
I am selling a 1994 Honda Civic Del Sol VTEC model JDM. This means the car has the factory B16A3. It is mostly factory and in very good condition for its age. This car in this condition is very rare. The only aftermarket parts being the shifter knob, cold air intake, and cd player/stereo. The car handles like new. The previous owner was a mechanic. He told me the timing belt, water pump, cam seals, and all the standard maintenance that goes along with that was done at 205k miles. The only real issue with the car is that even though the motor is in very good shape the car idles up and down when its at operating temperature. I am not a mechanic and I do not know why it does this or how to fix it. I drove it all summer this way and didn't have any other issues. The air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows all work correctly. The cd player works but the auxillary adapter doesn't work right, and the shifter knob top piece isn't secured and spins. The body is in amazing shape for the age of the car. It's the original paint but looks like it may have been professionally touched up in a couple of places. There is the beginning stages of some surface rust on the rear quarter panels. As you can see in the picture its hardly noticeable. The car looks great and just needs the idle issue fixed to run like new. I bought the car with 212k miles and drove it for the summer but I just bought a newer civic so now I am selling it. All title transfer issues in the buyers state are the responsibility of the buyer to take care of or communicate to me. Shipping the car is the buyers responsibility. I will help any way I can but it must be funded and arranged by the buyer. If the buyer would like to fly in and drive the car home I am willing the pick them up at a cleveland airport. I have ebay on my phone so I will answer any questions or concerns in a timely manner. Thanks. Phil
