NO RESERVE on a great no excuses car!Spectacular 1962 Ford Falcon Ranchero offered for sale to a smart buyer looking for the best in a practical classic. Bone stock specifications, but enhanced with a custom painted in 2-tone BadAss Black color scheme with gloss black over matte black sides and roof with a similar scheme inside. This is a real head-turner while being the kind of practical classic you can use daily for work or play. This car has been carefully restored to stock configuration and features a sweet running 144 cu. in. straight six mated to a 3-speed column-shifted (Three-On-The-Tree) manual transmission, good for 18-22 MPG and sustained freeway speeds. Everything works exactly as it should and is 100% complete and is driven regularly. Drop a small block 260-289-302 in it if you must, but this is a real great running car just the way it is. This a rust and accident-free car. It needs absolutely nothing and you can comfortably drive it cross country today. Includes Retro AM/FM radio with Aux plug in and four speakers. Sirius receiver pictured is not included. Indicated odometer mileage 68300, but true mileage unknown. Early Falcons---especially Rancheros---are coming into their own and values have been rising strongly. They’re well-built, practical and easy on fuel. Parts are plentiful and there is great club support. A Ranchero this good is extremely hard to find. It is a California car from Day One (Oct. 6, 1961) and was built in Ford’s San Jose plant and sold new in Fullerton, CA. Typical restoration costs on something else would far exceed the reserve price on this one. Look at the NADA Classic Car Price Guide for 1962 Rancheros. Reserve is well below average retail.
