1983 380SEL US Model. Only 72k original miles!! Private owner! The car has a few quirks but is in good running condition. Engine & transmission are in great condition. Engine is smooth with no noises and transmission shifts as it should. There is NO rust on the body. N.Y.S Inspection just done. Engine Oil and & filter just changed. Fuel filters replaced last month. Spark plugs replaced last year. Battery replaced 2 years ago. Tires & battery are good. The car is all original I have clean title on hand. I also have complete books, tool kit with jack, first aid kit and 2 keys. Sunroof IS operational! Even the clock works! Headliner is in great condition. Original spare wheel with original 14" Pirelli tire are in good condition. Some of the quirks on this car: LF window does not go down LR window is operational but off track. Needs new regulator slide tabs RF seat has tear on leather Dash has started to crack on a few places. Very common on these W126 cars with the blue interior Car is equipped with a rare option: rear power reclining back seat. It is operational but sometimes does not move although you can hear the seat motor operating. Radio powers on but no sound from speakers. This just recently happened. Antenna does not retract but I do hear the motor running when I turn the radio on. Car suffers from intermittent high idle. This is a common issue on these W126 V8 powered cars. This does NOT affect the way the car drives. This is not a garage queen but it runs and drives great on the hwy. I used this car going to the train station and driving to the Hamptons every other weekend. If you are looking for a "10" then please look elsewhere.
