This is a rare find, especially in Ohio! A totally rust free BMW convertible, and I mean NO rust, anywhere, even the underneath of this car looks as it did when ot drove out of the factory. I brought this car up from North Carolina in September of this year. This car has been in my family for many, many years. It spent it's entire life in North Carolina, and was never driven in the rain. The car is a metallic blue, with dark blue leather interior. The convertible top is a dark blue canvas. The car has an inline 6-cylinder with an automatic transmission, with 168 factory horsepower. The car was always well maintained, and is in excellent mechanical condition The car runs and drives awesome. It's very strong and solid. The car has tons of options, windows, locks, mirrors, heated seats, antenna, and they all work. If you know BMW's, you'll see that this one is a good one. The body of this car is in great shape, no rust, dents or scratches anywhere. The paint shines nice, but the back trunk lid could use a good waxing. The blue canvas to is in good shape, no tears or rips. The rear window isn't perfectly clear, but you can see out of it fine. The car isn't perfect, but is is ready to last for years to come. The work it needs is minor, this car is very solid mechanically. The needed work includes fixing the inside driver door handle, front shocks, front tires and alignment, a few other minor details. On Nov-07-12 at 07:28:53 PST, seller added the following information: I have received many questions about the interior. Everything works, except the inside driver door handle will need replaced. The stereo works great, power antenna works great too. The interior is in great shape. Original floor mats, no cracks in the dash, all windows work well. The rear seat has one small rip, about 2-3 inches long on the passenger side bottom portion. It could also use a dye job on the bottom portion (see pic).
