Here is another nice Triumph from my collection. 1960 6T - very nice original bike but not pristine. All sheet metal good and straight. Color is the home market blue/silver. This motorcycle had not been started/run for many years. Aware that is was going to auction, I took it to Barbers (pit area) and prepped it to start/ride. It fired on the second kick/did not smoke/knock/hammer - sounded fine. Rode it, ran fine/shifted well thru all gears. It has a Mikuni on it and was a little obstinate (like it was to lean). I tried the typical air jet/raising the needle valve/etc - it improved but still not quite right. Since I planned on installing a proper monobloc on it anyway, I brought it home. Sorry for the dark pictures, it was raining outside. The bike is offered "as-is/where-is", FOB Middletown, OH 45044 (30 mi N of Cincinnati). All pick up and shipment arrangements are the responsibility of the auction winner. I use DK Trucking and find them extremely reliable. Mileage is listed at 72 and is not correct. True mileage unknown. There is a title (clear/open/Florida). Matching (unmolested) frame and engine numbers. Overall a very nice collectible fairly rare Tub model. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close, balance to be paid in 7 days in a manner acceptable to buyer/seller.
