Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This is a Mazda 323 GTX 1988 model. It was imported for only two years 88 and 89 to allow the car model to meet the requirements to be raced as a production car. My son purchased it about 5 years ago and was shipped to Italy for Naval duty. I purchased it from him and it has been driven less than 3 hundred miles in the 5 years I have had it. It was in the garage and I need the space so it is up for sale. I have a spare power train including engine and trans. with the turbo and manifolds. I also have spare seats for the front seat and wheels that are off a GTX. Spare struts drive shafts and some interior parts+ one fender. I am not sure but I think I have an extra block with pistons and rods but no crank that went some where before I got it A little history of the car as best as I can explain it. The car was stolen before my son got it so there are some pry dents by the driver side center post and the passenger side lock is missing. The radio was gone but I had a Mazda radio here from a truck of about the same year and it fit perfect. It has been run as often as I am in town and it starts great and sounds good. It needs to be taken out and run but I do not have insurance or plates so I back it out of the garage and run to heat up the oil and make sure no leaks have caused a problem. I want it gone but I will not give it away. It is a blast to drive and would make a great rally or rallyX car or a solo car. It could be a every day runner also if you want.There is some rust in the rear fender wells .I was going to use the front fender for parts to weld on the rear to fix the rust but there was no time. On Nov-04-12 at 04:57:40 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to say that there is a crack in the windshield . When I was going to drive the car I checked and the windshield is not expensive but I decided not to spend the money.
